Lately, I've been listening to a lot of podcasts. I caught one about two months ago that interviewed Brene Brown, a psychologist who studies shame. What she had to share was really, really illuminating for me. Her interview led me to realize what emotional problems I've experienced and currently experience has been, in large part, due to buried feelings of shame. That word ...shame... it just seems to encompass so much of what I've been trying to understand about myself, and really about all us humans in general.
This is a tiny piece that grew out of that. Certainly, there are things about myself I'm still learning to accept...
I may add color later.
